I have worked as a live sound engineer for the last 22 years, using high-end digital desks and gaining experience in both studio and live audio settings.

My direct experience extends to desks including the Yamaha PM, DM, CL, QL, LS series, M7CL, Midas HD96 Heritage, Pro1 , 2 , 3 series, M32, Soundcraft SI and VI series, Allen & Heath D live series , QU and SQ series, GLD series, Digico SD 8,9,10,11 , Behringer X 32, Presonus, Studiolive series and Avid Venue S3L-X.

I have longstanding experience working with mixed bands in a wide variety of places, using all major recording programs in both home and establishment scenarios. In particular, I am experienced in mixing FoH and monitors for bands, plays, conferences, weddings and other events.

More practically, I am very experienced in Signal flow, equipment set up and integration, patchbay and cable configuration. Moreover, I fully appreciate the principles of sound and acoustics, sound proofing and studio design. Understanding extends to DAW functions and tools (Pro Tools, Logic pro X, Reaper, and many others), Dante and AES connections.

Longstanding experience working at many different types of entertainment venues, such as theatre, concert halls and as a sound engineer, I have gained the skills needed to configure and cable all technical equipment and software needed for each of these different stages. I understand that many different types of emergencies can come up during a performance. Being able to recognize and resolve any needs of the artists is paramount to me.

ICT
I have gained knowledge in the technical repair of computers, hardware, and installing software. I have good customer service skills, am able to explain the basic steps of problem solving on hardware computers and software. I also deal with installation hardware and software in Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X Platforms.

In summary, I have been working as a freelance sound engineer since 2001. Over the years I have gathered experience with all kinds of live events, from corporate events to big outdoor concerts and festivals.
